Dr. Katrin Scheinemann
Dr. Katrin Scheinemann completed her medical degree as well as her doctoral thesis at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Würzburg Germany. Following residency training in general pediatrics in Germany she completed a fellowship in pediatric Hematology/ Oncology and Neurooncology at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. In 2008 she was appointed as Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, and as a staff physician in the division of Hematology/ Oncology at the McMaster Children's Hospital. Currently Dr. Scheinemann is working at the University Children´s Hospital in Basel, Switzerland, as a staff physician in the division of Hematology/ Oncology and is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada.
