PATRIZIO SALE was born in Benevento (BN) Italy, 31 July 1975.

EDUCATION: Medical School, 2001, School of Clinical Pathology, 2006, Medical residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation 2014, PhD in Human Pathology, 2015.

PERSONAL SKILLS AND CLINICAL COMPETENCE: Orthopedical Rehabilitation. Neurological rehabilitation: stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders.

MAIN RESEARCH AREAS:  Rehabilitation robotics, Neurological rehabilitation, Movement disorders, Computerised movement analysis (biomechanics, dynamic electromyography, posturography), tele-rehabilitation and tele-medicine system in clinical use.

During his research experience, Dr. Sale acquired expertise in field of neurorehabilitation particularly in the upper and lower limbs robotics and prosthetics, action observation treatment in Stroke and Parkinson, Virtual Reality and Telerehabilitation.

Dr. Sale promoted studies on neurorehabilitation of Stroke, Parkinson disease, Multiple Sclerosis and in the last years his work has been focused on the role of innovative technologies to implement the recovery of neurological patients.

BIOGRAPHY:  He is author of 79 papers on prestigious international journal and has a global h-index of 26.  During their research activity, they received various Grants as Principal Investigator.

Invited speaker at many national and international Congress in all fields of Neurorehabilitation. He is Member of Italian Society of Neurological Rehabilitation (SIRN), Member of Italian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (SIMFER), Member of Neuroscience Society USA.

He, annually, leads university courses for professional educators, physiotherapists and medical doctors specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation.

From 2001 he is teacher at School for biomedical laboratory technician of University of Roma La Sapienza. Teacher of "Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation" and "Neurological Rehabilitation" at the University of Roma Tor Vergata and at University of Padua.
